I Am Your First Line Of Defense

The Lord is saying: I Am here, and I Am with you.  I remind you of this because you tend to forget that I Am in your presence continually and forever.  This should bring you much peace and comfort knowing that the Creator of all things is with you in amazing ways.  When you are troubled, it is because you have pulled back from Me, and not because I have pulled back from you for this is impossible for Me to do.  Look around and see that I Am with you.  When you walk out of your home the morning breeze is My hand kissing your cheek.  When you see that bird fly overhead, it is My majesty reminding you of My presence with you.  My loves, the enemy of your soul is attacking ferociously as he knows that his time is short.  I show you My presence in many ways to remind you that I Am your first line of defense.  If you will only cry out to Me, I will help you in ways you cannot yet understand.

Psalm 46:1-11 (ESV) To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2  Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, 3  though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah 4  There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. 5  God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. 6  The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. 7  The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah 8  Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth. 9  He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. 10  “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” 11  The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

As Simple As That

The Lord is saying:  I Am here, and I Am with you.  My loves, you are beautiful in My sight.  You are precious to Me and there is nothing between us.  The enemy tries to separate us, but he fails.  He’s nothing but a bully that folds when you stand up to him, because He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.  Though he knows this, he still believes that he can beat you and keep you from entering Heaven with Me, for his goal is to destroy you in order to hurt Me.  But I have all the power of the universe, and I hold you tightly, so there is no reason to fear.  The enemy of your soul thinks himself so powerful in his pride, but his destruction at the end will be absolute as he and all that have fallen with him will be cast into the lake of fire at the appointed time.  His time is short, and he knows this.  He knows My Word, though he has no wisdom to interpret it, so he must scheme with what he knows, and he continually fails.  My children, remember this point and you will be comforted – that the enemy has limited power and limited strength, so stand up against him in My Name and he must flee.  It is as simple as that, My loves.

2 Thess 2:1-12 (ESV) Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2  not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3  Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4  who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5  Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6  And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9  The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10  and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11  Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12  in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
