Ask Of Me In All Things

The Lord is saying:  I Am here, and I Am with you.  My loves, it pains Me greatly to see you struggle in the little things when I Am right here with you.  Some days you act as if I Am absent and you are on your own.  But this is never the case, My little ones.  There are times when you think that you don’t need Me and you go your own way without seeking My direction.  Yes, sometimes you use the wisdom I have given you to move forward, but this wisdom is from past experiences and will not fully prepare you for new experiences that are ahead for you.  Yes, there are times when I Am trying to show you something and you miss it and so you must go around that same mountain again in order to grasp what I Am showing you.  But when you learn from that experience you sometimes think you are prepared for the next thing, only to find that the circumstances are new and you find yourself in a pickle.  These are the times when you remember that I Am with you and will help you through this new thing.  If only you would learn to always press into Me, then your learning would come easily as you wait upon Me.  This is wisdom, My loves, to ask of Me in all things.

Gal 2:15-21 (ESV) We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; 16  yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. 17  But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! 18  For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor. 19  For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. 20  I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21  I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

Cry Out To Me

The Lord is saying:  I Am here, and I Am with you.  I will never leave you nor will I forsake you.  This alone brings deep peace to your hearts for I will not leave you as an orphan but will welcome you into the center of My family.  There are many who have had earthly families that were lacking from the start and have left them wanting and disheartened that things will ever be as they long for in their hearts.  But I want to remind you first that I Am that I Am, and I cannot go against My character that is based on love.  Because of this you will never be left behind, or maligned, or in great want, for I will provide you with all that you need to flourish.  Some of you have or had great earthly fathers and the transition to trust Me has been the logical next step for you.  But some of you have fathers who are far from Me and never displayed My love to you, and this you struggle with when it comes to Me.  But I Am good.  And because I Am good, I give you good gifts and will never leave you on your own.  If you are going through some difficulty, tell Me about it and I will guide you through it.  Sometimes you become so frustrated that you shout out to Me and question why you are experiencing such things.  Don’t hold back, for I can handle your doubts and your frustrations, and sometimes it takes you getting to this point to finally put to rest some obstacle that is in your path.  So this day, cry out to Me and see if I won’t come to your aid.

Genesis 50:15-21 (ESV) When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil that we did to him.” 16  So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, “Your father gave this command before he died: 17  ‘Say to Joseph, “Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18  His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” 19  But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? 20  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. 21  So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.

Showing My Love

The Lord is saying:  I Am here, and I Am with you.  At every turn you will find a new path laid out before you.  I Am the One who directs your way and it is your obedience that sends you on the path I have opened.  Your obedience pleases Me, for it puts My will ahead of your own.  I never said it would be easy, but that it would ultimately bring My glory before those around you and give you opportunity to share My love with them.  When you see a neighbor outside and you stop to spend time with them just catching up on life, I Am there amongst you and by your example their hearts are edified and encouraged.  This is showing My love to them as I have commanded you.  The greatest of all commandments is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and the second is like it, to love your neighbor as yourself.  This is the foundation of all My Word to you.  As you walk the path I have before you, this leads to actively showing this love, then the world is better for it as hearts are softened.  Showing My love is the true mark of a child of Mine.

Matt 22:34-40 (ESV) But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35  And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36  “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37  And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38  This is the great and first commandment. 39  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40  On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
