Joy Is Your Destination

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My loves, My children, the Joy to My heart; each of you is like a diamond placed in the Heavenlies.  You are My treasure and My very own.  I have placed you where you are, and am placing you where you will be, for all things are done for My glory and your joy.  I Am with each of you always and forevermore and My love for you has no bounds.  I think about you constantly as a groom thinks about his bride.  I Am smitten with you, My loves.  Because of this great love that I have for each of you, there are storehouses of blessing in Heaven that I will now loose on each of you.  These blessings will make you smile and this pleases Me.  It is My will that there be laughter in your lives, in your homes and in all that you do.  Laughter springs from the joy within, and your joy will now increase with each passing day as My blessings come into your hands and into your hearts.  Be encouraged, My precious ones, for as the darkness seems to ever spread over the earth, you and your loved ones will not be affected by what you see but by what you receive from Me.  Stop focusing on the earth and focus on Me with you in the earth.  This will set your sights high and upon Me in this time and as the blessing fall you will see them and have joy.  It doesn’t matter what happens in the world around you, rather what happens in your heart, for this is where I live – in the hearts of My people.  Joy is your destination, for true joy is in Me.  I AM.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. ³ For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: ⁴ That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ⁵ For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. ⁷ Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. ⁸ So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

¹⁸ For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. ¹⁹ For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. ²⁰ For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, ²¹ Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. ²³ And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ²⁴ For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? ²⁵ But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

³¹ What shall we then say to these things? In Me You Will Not Fail

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My children I love each of you more than you can fully understand, which is why I want you to stop worrying about your performance for I see you as you will be.  Think on this, My loves.  So many of you get downtrodden because of your own shortcomings when I have already forgiven you.  The Blood of Jesus Christ is too precious and too powerful for you to focus on what you have done, and instead look forward to what you will do.  You are children of the Most High God, and therefore you are already victorious over your sin and shortcomings.  Instead of looking back at what you have done that displeases Me, look forward to the Glory that you will be.  Yes, sin is a terrible curse and must be dealt with, but dwelling on past sin does nothing but hinder your progress forward in Me.  I want you to be encouraged today, and every day, that what is before you is much more glorious than that which is behind.  This is a new day, a new way of thinking and a new way of doing things.  In Me you will not fail, for I have rigged everything in your favor.  Step out in newness of life this day and see My hand upon all you do.  I AM.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: ² Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3 (KJV)

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

¹² Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. ¹³ Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, ¹⁴ I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. ¹⁶ Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

¹⁷ Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. ¹⁸ (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: ¹⁹ Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) ²⁰ For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: ²¹ Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

You Will Be Victorious

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My children you have entered a time of My favor upon you.  As you have been obedient to My leading in your lives I will now lavish you with many blessings.  All will receive blessings in this time, according to your faith and your obedience.  Those who have been obedient in all things will be given tenfold what you sacrificed for Me.  Even those who struggled to do those things they knew they should do will be given blessing to use for My glory.  You will now see it, as some already have and are receiving these things.  Even My son, Alan, who is writing this has received the first of his many blessings.  You will now have healing in your bodies, in your souls, in your minds.  You will sense My presence in increasing manner.  You will see things before you that you wouldn’t believe even if you were told.  I Am raising each of you up to be carriers of My Glory in the earth.  The lost will see it and seek you out and you will lead a multitude into My presence.  My children, this is your time to shine in My glory and you will not be failures, but VICTORS!  Rise up, My loves!  Receive these blessings.  Share My love with all around you.  Nowhere you will go that you won’t display My love and My light to those around you.  A great harvest has come and you will be victorious in all that you do.  No longer will you be weary, as My Holy Spirit that is in you will give you strength and encourage you along the way.  When you hear that “still small voice” tell you to go “this way”, then go this way.  As you are obedient, you will receive even more blessing to share with others.  My loves, this is a wonderful time in the earth, as the Heavenly hosts are cheering you on.  There is great excitement in Heaven as the time of preparation has now comes to a close and the war for souls commences.  In all you do, you will be victorious.  I AM

I AM in Control

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My children, the earth has come under great stress of the enemy and this has caused the normal pattern of things to become erratic.  This is all foretold and is to be expected.  Extremes in temperature, rainfall, drought and storms will continue to increase, but do not fear these things for I Am in sovereign control over all things.  These extremes will be viewed by many as “climate change” or some other name that will carry a shocking message.  These are by the enemy to keep people fearful and under his control.  But this has the opposite effect as well:  Many who become fearful will turn to Me in this time because of what they see in the earth.  And you, My children, are not to become fearful for if you are truly in Me, then you will have My peace.  When people who become fearful at what they see, then see your calm reaction, they will reach out to you for answers and you will tell them that I AM is the answer.  No more will people look for solutions to the symptoms of things, but they will see the root cause.  Anyone who seeks out the root cause of things will find Me in their investigations, for I Am is the First Cause of all things.  The enemy can only emulate My power and upon investigation will be seen as a phony and a fake.  If you are found in Me, then you will not be taken in by his shenanigans.  Seek Me out and you will find Me.  Seek Me with your whole heart and you will not be disappointed, for I Am at the door.  I long to spend more time with each of you, so do not fret about things you cannot control, for I Am in control.

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, ² Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? ³ Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. ⁴ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. ⁵ Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? ⁶ Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; ⁷ When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

¹⁶ Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? ¹⁷ Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? ¹⁸ Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

¹⁹ Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, ²⁰ That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? ²¹ Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? ²² Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, ²³ Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? ²⁴ By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

²⁵ Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; ²⁶ To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; ²⁷ To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? ²⁸ Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? ²⁹ Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? ³⁰ The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

³¹ Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? ³² Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? ³³ Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

³⁴ Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? ³⁵ Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are? ³⁶ Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? ³⁷ Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven, ³⁸ When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

³⁹ Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions, ⁴⁰ When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait? ⁴¹ Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

I Will Surround You With My Loving Arms

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My precious children listen closely, for the enemy prowls seeking whom he may destroy.  Many of you are under fierce attacks now as the enemy knows his time is short.  He realizes that he has overstepped his bounds and must be set back for a short time before he is allowed to rule as My Word foretells.  Many of you are feeling the pressure of these attacks and are becoming weary in spirit and in your flesh.  In addition, there seems that a week doesn’t go by that some famous person has passed away and these things are covered in your news media.  All of these things has an effect upon you, so I Am now instructing you to look to Me above all else, that you not become so weary that the enemy keeps you from fulfilling your role that I have ordained for you.  Remember that I will never leave you nor forsake you, and even when you feel the pressure building all around you, you can find peace in these storms by drawing near to Me.  Those who do not surrender to Me will have to endure much strife in the coming days, while those who have fully surrendered will have peace.  Come to Me today and I will surround you with My loving arms.  I AM.

James 4; 1 Pet 2

From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? ² Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. ³ Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. ⁴ Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. ⁵ Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? ⁶ But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. ⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ⁸ Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. ¹³ Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: ¹⁴ Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. ⁴ To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ⁵ Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. ⁶ Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. ⁷ Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, ⁸ And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; ¹⁰ Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

¹¹ Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; ¹² Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

¹³ Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; ¹⁴ Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. ¹⁵ For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: ¹⁶ As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. ¹⁷ Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

¹⁸ Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. ¹⁹ For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. ²⁰ For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

²¹ For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: ²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: ²³ Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: ²⁴ Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. ²⁵ For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Be At the Ready, For Now I Move

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  My children look up and away from the world and you will be encouraged!  I Am moving in and upon the earth in mighty ways and those who lift their gaze from their circumstances will see it.  Evil has exposed itself and now will be reckoned with.  Just as in the days of Pharoah in Egypt, who put terrible circumstances upon My people, Israel, by greatly increasing their work load and beating their backs, so has the enemy of your souls increased trouble upon My people.  But now I push back.  Now is not the time for the enemy to control My people, My loves, My Bride, for now I bring her forth in newness of life.  The world will see Me in you and take notice and many will be saved in this time.  Prepare your hearts, My loves, for I have been positioning each of you strategically to bring forth the greatest of harvests.  Be at the ready, for now I move.  I AM.

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. ² As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. ³ But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. ⁴ Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

⁵ A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. ⁶ God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

⁷ O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: ⁸ The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. ⁹ Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. ¹⁰ Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

¹⁵ The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. ¹⁶ Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever. ¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. ¹⁸ Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

¹⁹ Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. ²⁰ He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. ²¹ But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. ²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: ²³ That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

²⁴ They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary. ²⁵ The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. ²⁶ Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. ²⁷ There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

²⁸ Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. ²⁹ Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. ³⁰ Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war. ³¹ Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

³² Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah: ³³ To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. ³⁴ Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. ³⁵ O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Prepare Your Hearts, For the Time Has Come

Hello My son, this is Jehovah Elohim speaking with you this day.  Hello My loves, listen closely for I have a word of encouragement for each of you.  Though you don’t see it yet, among you are many of My remnant, more than you know, and the time has come for each of you to be introduced to the other.  So many of you have thought you were among the very few of My children who will be raised up at the last hour before My Son, Jesus, comes for His Bride.  But on the contrary the remnant is quite a large number.  Over the past years and months I have been working in each of you – refining you and making you ready for the battle that has now come, and you will be amazed at the number that I have prepared.  I have been working through My Holy Spirit to make each of you into a strong part of My Body and in unison this Body will now rise.  Each of you has a different talent and different role, but all have a common goal; lost souls.  As I lead you, many will come to saving faith in My Son, Jesus Christ, and be counted as His Bride that will be brought in before the great and dreadful day.  So, for a time, each of you will not be hindered in fulfilling your role in the Body and many will come from the darkness into the Light.  You will see amazing displays of My power upon you as you move with ease, pushing back the darkness so that the lost will see and make the choice that will either lead them into Glory, or eternal damnation.  Do not fret over those who choose the darkness, for I will give them another chance.  But there will come a time when, like Pharoah, I will give them over to their sin and their hearts will become hardened.  But a number you cannot fathom will make the right choice and come into My loving arms and be saved.  You will see this and you will rejoice at the movement of My Holy Spirit in the earth.  Prepare your hearts, for the time has come.  I AM.

Exodus 7; 11

And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. ² Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. ³ And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. ⁴ But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. ⁵ And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. ⁶ And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they. ⁷ And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

⁸ And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, ⁹ When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. ¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. ¹¹ Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. ¹² For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. ¹³ And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.

¹⁴ And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go. ¹⁵ Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. ¹⁶ And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. ¹⁷ Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. ¹⁸ And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river. ¹⁹ And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

²⁰ And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. ²¹ And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. ²² And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the Lord had said. ²³ And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also. ²⁴ And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river. ²⁵ And seven days were fulfilled, after that the Lord had smitten the river.

Exodus 11 (KJV)

And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. ² Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold. ³ And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

⁴ And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: ⁵ And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. ⁶ And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. ⁷ But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. ⁸ And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

⁹ And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. ¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
