The Lord is saying: I Am here, and I Am with you. Love is the only way, My children. Not contention, not strife, not anger, not hate, but love. Love is the mark of a child of Mine, for they have surrendered their sinful nature for My love. When you come to Me and are saved, I begin a good work in your heart to remove the stain of sin. I take a heart that is of stone and immediately change it into a heart of flesh. But this new heart is raw and still tends to what it knows, which is some sin that was practiced daily. And with each new day I Am at work to change that heart by placing it in a crucible and testing it seven times so that it becomes pure and undefiled. This is the act of sanctification, which simply means that each day you look a little more like My son, Jesus. When you go through a time of great trial in the valley of decision and you choose Me, then you reach the top of that mountain where you see more clearly than you ever have in your life, and then I orchestrate the next learning process and so forth, until that time when you have become a mature child that has set aside the former life and are now walking in My power and in communion with Me at all times. These are wins that are to be celebrated because not many will have allowed Me to guide them to full maturity in the way that I have ordained for you. I use each of you to the level of your faith, and many of you are being used in ways you cannot yet see but will be revealed to you upon your glorification, which is the moment you step into My presence for eternity. Once you stand before Me, I will reveal to you all the works that you have done that have eternal weight and you will be amazed. Walking with Me through the valleys and celebrating with Me on the mountaintops are the mark of a child who chooses love over all things.
1 John 3:11-24 (ESV) For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. 19 By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; 20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
