Habakkuk 2

While in prayer the Lord led me to Habakkuk 2.  When He gave me that scripture I had no idea what it was about, so upon reading, it became apparent that this is a warning to those who are against the Lord – to those who live solely for self.   V3 says that the vision is “yet for the appointed time… it will not fail.  Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.”  Brothers and sisters in Christ, the time is upon us when our Lord will judge the peoples of the earth.  We have been waiting for this for a very long time and some of us have become weary, but the Lord’s timing is perfect and it now is upon us!  Be encouraged!

The time is fast approaching that those who have lived lavish lifestyles at the expense of others will now have to pay the piper – for their time of revelry is near over.  To those leaders who have founded nations on bloodshed; the cities seated on the blood of the peoples, the Lord is about to unleash His wrath.  They will turn to their gods, to those things fashioned out of wood and stone, though clad with silver and gold, they have no breath in them.  V20 ”But the Lord is in His holy temple.  Let all the earth be silent before Him.”

Please take this to the Lord.  Plead for mercy for your own households, for those the Lord has placed in your path, for your leaders of cities, states and nations.  Pray for the peoples who no not the One True Lord God, Jehovah Elohim, Yeshua Ha Mashiach, the Lord Jesus Christ, and Ruach Hakodesh, the Holy Spirit.  That His name will be preached to the nations and they be saved.  The time is now upon us that will cause the hearts of men to falter.  But for those of us who are called His friend, we will be saved from these calamities.

Psalm 91 (KJV)
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
