The Lord is saying: I Am here, and I Am with you. Each time you recognize Me in your presence, you activate My Spirit in your life, and nothing is impossible for you. If you set out to do something in your own strength, then you will become weary and will ultimately become disheartened. But when you set out in My name, then you are like a marathon runner that crosses the finish line and wins the prize. Your life is like a marathon, where there are hills and valleys and mountain top experiences that will encourage you and keep your tank full of My energy to win the prize that I give to you – the Crown of Life. This crown awaits those who have persevered on your journey, and nothing can take it from you. I remind you Who you belong to in order to help you in those stretches of life that seem to go on and on with no end in sight. At times all you see is the steep incline before you, but I want you to know in your heart that the top of the mount is just ahead, so don’t give up because it has been difficult and miss the prize. Those who miss the prize are those who are running in your own strength, trying to enter My Kingdom through another way. These will be cast away and will not cross the finish line, but you, My loves, have the power of the Universe at your disposal. Lift your eyes and see My hand before you, helping you, holding you and then carrying you Home to Me.
Psalm 23:1-6 (ESV) A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
